Dr. Hetsko received his Au.D. Degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences and is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology. He holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association. His past professional experience includes serving as the president of the Ohio Academy of Audiology, Northern Ohio Academy of Audiology, the Better Hearing and Speech Council of Lorain County and the Northern Ohio Language-Speech-Hearing Association. He is a past district representative to the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association and past-president of the Rotary Club of Oberlin. Dr. Hetsko is a consultant to the Allen Community Hospital, Kendal at Oberlin, Wesleyan Village, the Lorain County Free Clinic and Welcome Nursing Home. He previously worked at the Rehabilitation Center of Lorain County (now the Children’s Developmental Center) in Amherst, OH; the Oberlin Clinic and Oberlin Medical Center where he directed the Audiology programs. In the past he has served as a clinical supervisor for graduate Audiology students from local universities and lectured on hearing health care to private and professional organizations throughout Ohio. He has also been a guest lecturer on hearing loss in older adults for the Lorain County Community College nursing program.
Specializing in comprehensive hearing assessment and the application of advanced hearing instrument technology, Dr. Hetsko will personally assist you with your hearing health needs.
Gina Knarich is a licensed Audiology Aide and senior patient care coordinator at Oberlin Hearing Care. She was a trained combat medic and served in the U.S. Army for seven years. For many years she worked at University Hospitals in Cleveland in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division. Prior to coming to Oberlin Hearing Care she was an Audiology Aide at the Oberlin Clinic and Oberlin Medical Center. She is well trained to evaluate and repair hearing instrument problems.
Stacy Lovett hails from Jamaica by way of Florida and currently resides in Lorain, OH. She served in the US Army in Iraq and her professionalism shows in the office. Stacy graduated from the Ohio Business College in Lorain where she was recognized on the President’s and Dean’s lists. You’ll find her always ready to assist you with a smile.
